Banner design for the annual Native Cinema Showcase held at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian in Lower Manhattan. This is an annual event that is a celebration of the best in Native film; it provides a unique forum for engagement with Native filmmakers from Indigenous communities throughout the Western Hemisphere and Arctic. The final banner was made of fabric, and shapes were sewn together. Worked closely to select fabric samples that matched the original design and give the translucent layering effect of the film strips.
