Logo designed for a blog based in Houston, TX
showcasing the culture, local shops, restaurants and places to explore in the
outer neighborhoods of Houston. “The Loop” referred to the geographic areas of
Houston being inside or outside of Interstate 610. Played with the idea of a
circular shape to represent the highway and the inner portion featuring the
iconic Houston skyline that resides inside the loop. Drew and created a
watercolor textured color version and a simple black and white line art version.
