A major initiative for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian in Lower Manhattan that created an interactive and educational space for young visitors to explore the scientific principles behind Native ideas that are still a part of our lives today. Helped coordinate the production of all elements and designed sections with an educational focus. Balanced bright, joyous colors with the earthy tones and textures of traditional Native life to attain a modern and youthful aesthetic. Collaborated on the design and researched the fabrication of the CNC milled large scale map of North America that is a centerpiece of the ImagiNations center. A fun and challenging project because we got to research and work on many new forms of design and production for the center.
